The shows will be conducted at Metz Middle School, 9950 Wellington Road, Manassas.

According to Amy Grant Wolfe, artistic director, "The 13 dancers will offer a wide variety of excit-ing numbers at the gala, performing individually or as a group."
Wolfe said the production will close with a 20-minute piece that the theater will offer at the opening of the $56 million Hylton Performing Arts Center at George Mason University's Prince William Campus on May 23 at 1 p.m. Local singer Jason Paul Curtis will perform at both events. The center will be the new venue for the theater.
Wolfe said all unused "Nutcracker" tickets (which was snowed out) will be honored at the gala performance or at the production of "Giselle" on May 15 and May 16, also at Metz.
The theater is the second-largest professional ballet company in Virginia, comprised of the professional dancers presenting four major shows each season. The theater also provides free educational outreach programs to more than 15,000 students.
The theater is a nonprofit corporation founded in 1983 with a mission to improve the quality of life through the art of ballet.
"We accomplish this by providing accessible and affordable cultural arts performances, by offering free performances to public school children in our community and by providing the highest level of training to professional and college track dancers," Wolfe said.
