Drivers report rocks thrown at car
Rocks were thrown at two vehicles traveling in the area of Blackburn Road and Winslow Court in Woodbridge around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.
The first vehicle, a 1998 Chevrolet Camero, was struck on the windows, but was not damaged, Hernandez said.
A window broke on the second vehicle, a 2007 Toyota Tacoma, police said.
Charges filed following report of attacker
Kennedy Aviles-Reyes, 30, 10651 Blendia Lane, Apt. 4, in Manassas, was charged with malicious wounding fol-lowing an incident in the 8200 block of Conner Drive around 10:15 a.m. Aug. 23, said Manassas Park po-lice.
Aviles-Reyes is accused of attacking a man, knocking him to the ground, punching and kicking him, and causing numerous lacerations and extreme swelling to the face, police said.
The victim was transported to Prince William Hospital and was able to identify Aviles-Reyes "from a previ-ous domestic issue," according to a police incident report.
Aviles-Reyes was arrested Monday and was held without bond at the Prince William-Manassas regional jail pending an Oct. 9 court date, the report states.
Woodbridge woman treated after crashing into tree
A 20-year-old Woodbridge woman was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital after losing control of the four-door sedan she was driving and crashing into a tree off Blackburn Road near U.S. 1 in Woodbridge shortly around 3:12 p.m. Friday.
The tree fell on top the 2000 Saturn, trapping the woman, according to Hernandez and police radio traffic.
She sustained non life-threatening injuries, Hernandez said, but no additional information on her condition was available.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor, Hernandez said. No charges have been filed.
Woodbridge man faces weapon, drug charge
Adrian Lamar Sherman, 25, of 1508 Frances Drive in Woodbridge, was charged with possession of a concealed weapon, a handgun and possession of marijuana during a traffic stop in the area of Va. 123 and Annapolis Way in Woodbridge around 2:58 p.m. Wednesday, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokes-woman.
Sherman was released on his own recognizance and has a scheduled court date of Sept. 29.
Dale City man faces assault, battery charge
A 44-year-old Dale City man was charged with assault and battery in the 14700 block of Potomac Mills Road in Woodbridge around 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokes-woman.
Charles Wayne Brittain, of 14473 Belvedere Drive, is accused of assaulting an acquaintance after asking the 32-year-old Woodbridge man for money and then being told he didn't have any, police said.
Brittain was held in lieu of a $1,000 bond, but no court date was available.
Lake Ridge area woman faces theft charge
Bridget Ann Dupree, 29, of 12823 Hunterbrook Drive in the Lake Ridge area, was charged with grand larceny in the 2700 block of Potomac Mills Circle in Woodbridge around 6:35 p.m. Thursday, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.
Dupree is accused of walking out of the store without paying for merchandise valued at $369.94, Hernandez said.
She is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 22, police said. No bond information was available.

Thats assuming that illegals committ a disproportionate number of crimes in the NOVA area of course, which is borne out by nearly daily reports of illegals committing crimes. By the way being illegal is a crime. Go to the jails and courts on any given week and you will see. This is not a partisan or racial issue, legal immigrants, Democrats and Republicans and Independents most of all are highly against illegal immigration. LOL Chris Cummings
