» Friday, 7 to 9 p.m., Social Mixer at Four Seasons at Historic Virginia, a free event in the Cyber Café. Bring a snack to share, punch will be provided.

» Saturday, Montclair Fourth of July Celebration. The Annual Bike Parade begins at 10 a.m. at the association building and ends at Henderson Elementary School. The Fourth of July Picnic, hosted by the Montclair Lions Club, begins at 5 p.m. Food will be available until the start of the fireworks. Entertainment begins at 6 p.m. and will be provided by The Honky Tonk Experience. Fireworks at Dolphin Beach begin at 9:15 p.m.

» Wednesday, last day to buy tickets for the Square Dance at Four Seasons at Historic Virginia to be held from 7 to 9 p.m., July 11. All levels are welcome to learn some new dances from Larry. The cost $7 per person.

» Wednesday, last day to buy ticks for the Ice Cream social at Four Seasons at Historic Virginia to be held July 12. Ice Cream will be served poolside from 3 to 4 p.m; DJ Kevin Graham will provide music from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. The cost is $5.

» July 11, 11 a.m., a presentation of “Warrior on the threshing floor dress for battle” by Prophetess Linda Thompson at the Southbridge Community Center.

»July 11 from 9 to 10:30 a.m.  Extension Service hold program at the Teaching Garden at St. Benedict Monastery, 9535 Linton Hall Road in Bristow. “Saturday in the Garden — Building a Living Wall” class will feature worm composting and biointensive gardening. Grow herbs in a living wall which provides a beautiful structure in your garden as well as the microclimate that herbs prefer.
