Man found dead at Metro station

A Lorton man was found dead Thursday at the Franconia-Springfield Metro station.

The manager of the station found 33-year-old Dennis Howard dead, inside of the station’s rest room, just after 3 p.m. today, said Metro spokeswoman Lisa Farbstein.

A preliminary investigation has ruled out foul play in the man’s death.

Metro Transit Police are investigation the death.

Metro service has not been affected, said Farbstein.
