Manassas contestants sought for Miss Virginia USA pageant

Organizers for Miss Virginia USA are looking for their next Miss Virginia.

And they are looking in Manassas.

Leslie Morton, who is in charge of Field Operations for the Miss Virginia USAand Miss Virginia Teen USA will hold a “scouting outing”looking for girls interested in competing in the beauty pageants.

The meeting will be Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. in the council chambers at Manassas City Hall.

Girls ages 14 to 26 and their families are invited to the information meeting, Morton said.

The meeting will give information about the pageant competition, which includes a judges’ interview, swimsuit and evening gown competition.

The meeting is free and open to the public.
