Police blotter for July 3
Police reported the following incidents:
Bristow
n A handgun, two cell phones, an electric razor and personal documents were stolen from a 2004 Honda CRV parked in the 12700 block of Crossman Creek Way in Bristow between 10 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday.
There were no signs of forced entry.
Bristow
n A GPS unit and a pair of sunglasses were stolen from a 2004 Honda Accord parked in the 9200 block of Campfire Court between 5 p.m. Monday and 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The property was valued at $650. The car was parked in front of the victim's house with the doors unlocked.
Manassa
n A maroon 1997 Honda CBR600 motorcycle valued at $4,000 was stolen from the parking lot of an apartment building in the 11000 unit block of Edgepark Circle between 11 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
n A woman returned home to find her house ransacked and her flat screen TV and a DVD player, valued at $570, missing.
The woman lives in the 8200 block of Wellington Road, and the burglary happened between 6 and 11 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police said a door was forced to get in the house.
Manassas Park
n A silver Mongoose bicycle with pegs on both wheels was stolen from the recreation center on 99 Adams St. between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. It was valued at $500.
UPS delivered three packages to a home in the 9400 block of Lanae Lane while the homeowner was out of town. The packages weren't waiting for the homeowner when he returned and police said they were stolen sometime between May 11 and 12.
Fredericksburg
n Police arrested 30-year-old Elias Galindo of Manassas and charged him with possessing alco-hol on the city's riverbank property.
