Police blotter for June 28
Prince William Police reported the following:
Bristow
n There was an attempted burglary at a home in the the 9700 block of Maitland Loop between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 5 p.m. Thursday.
Entry was not gained to the house and nothing was stolen.
Dale City
n A large amount of cash was stolen from a gas station located in the 13200 block of Trowbridge Drive between 11:30 p.m June 21 and 6 a.m. Monday.
Money was also stolen from an automatic teller machine at the gas station.
The rear door was forced to get inside.
n A black revolver, two silver antique chests, coins, a digital camera and a Saudi Arabian dagger with brass hook and brass handle valued at $1,775 were stolen from a home in the 14200 block of Madrigal Drive between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
The victim reported that he returned home and found that his house had been ransacked and property stolen.
The rear door was forced to get inside.
Sudley Manor area
n Someone attempted to steal a 2005 Suzuki Katana motorcycle from the 9700 block of Sudley Manor Drive between 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday.
The victim had parked his motorcycle in the driveway and in the morning he found it at a different location.
Woodbridge
n A white 2004 Dodge Ram1500 truck was stolen from a hotel parking lot in the 1100 block of Horner Road about 5:32 a.m. Thursday.
Three racing bicycles that were on bed of the truck were also taken, along with a trailer that hooked up to the Dodge carrying a black 2005 Honda CRV600 motorcycle and protective riding gear.
The total value of the stolen property was estimated at $44,794.
n A laptop computer, a GPS unit, a portable XM radio, two brief cases with documents and a cell phone valued at $2,098 were stolen from a 1997 Chevrolet Suburban parked in the 14000 block of Telegraph Road between 8 p.m. Wednesday and 7:15 a.m. Thursday
Entry was gained by breaking a window.
n Two laptop computers, a television, jewelry, a sound system, a video game system, a digital camera, liquor and sports clothes worth an estimated $14,770 were stolen from a home in the 13500 block of Green Drive in Woodbridge between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Entry to the house was gained by forcing a rear door open.
