Prince William Education Association presented Membership Growth Award
Fifty members of the Prince William Education Association joined more than 800 of their public school colleagues from around the state recently in Hampton for the annual convention of the Virginia Education Association.
They made up the Prince William County delegation at the event at which time the business of the 60,000-member organization was conducted.
"The VEA is committed to pursing the best education for our children and the best working conditions for our educators because we believe the two go hand-in-hand," said Bonnie Klakowicz, president of the PWEA.
