Prince William woman caters to the pets

Taking the leap to operate her own business, local entrepreneur Cheryl Page has combined her professional business savvy with her passion for pets to launch "FETCH! Pet Care of South Manassas-Dumfries," part of a fast-growing, national franchise.

The company offers professional at-home pet sitting and dog walking services.

With a tagline of "We've got your tail covered," the new company will provide a wide range of services to meet pets' and their owners' varied needs, including daily small pet visits, private dog walks, overnight

sitting, day and evening care, private boarding, pet taxi services, home care, yard pet waste cleanup and medication for pets.

"We always say that if your pets could talk, we know what they would say. Our caregivers are in tune to the unique needs of every pet we care for. I've always been passionate about pets, so I now how important it is for pet owners to have complete peace of mind while their loved ones are not with them," said Page.

The pet sitters care for all types of pets, including dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, fish, iguanas and even horses. A free in-home consultation takes place prior to the first pet sitting assignment.

Page's daughter Meghan Flynn serves as office manager and son C. J. Page as a sitter. The company provides service throughout Prince William County, seven days a week.
