Don't forget—the Dumfries Farmers' Markets are coming back! The first one is this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Dumfries United Methodist Church in Dumfries. In addition to fresh produce, craft booths, gourmet items, youth activities and pony rides, something new has been added this year. Local performers John and Curt will play and perform your favorite 1950s and 60s pop music with a few blue-grass and country songs thrown in. The entertainment will go from 9 a.m. to noon. Come and get your fresh produce and visit the various booths as you listen to oldies. The event will take place rain or shine in Dum-fries, off U.S. 1 at the corner of Washington and Cameron streets. Mark your calendars and plan to get your fresh produce throughout the summer in Dumfries. For more information, please call 703-221-7440 or 2880.
