Open house today at Manassas Airport

Manassas Regional Airport, 10600 Harry Parrish Boulevard, Manassas will be the site of a special event to celebrate the Father's Day weekend.

An open house, "Big Boy's Toys," will be staged from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today.

The event will include discounted airplane, helicopter and simulator rides; police precision motorcycle demonstra-tions; K-9 demonstrations; new, antique, UAV, warbird and jet aircraft displays; motorcycles, boats, RV's, classic cars and hot rods; remote control helicopter demonstrations; raffles, bands, DJ, local food vendors and chil-dren's activities.

Rain date is Sunday. Entry into the event is free. This is the first time the open house has been conducted for the public by Aviation Adventures, housed at the airport.
