Track and Field Games set for Sunday in Manassas Park

The City of Manassas Park, Department of Parks and Recreation will host the local Hershey’s Track and Field Games on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Manassas Park High School.

Boys and girls ages 9 to 14 will compete separately in track races such as the 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, 4x100 relay and other events.

Participants will also have the opportunity to compete in one of two field events — the standing long jump or the softball throw. The event is free and those interested can pre-register by calling Tony Thomas at 703-335-8862 or e-mailing t.thomas@manassas parkva.gov.
