LETTER: Endorsement was right on
Published: October 26, 2009
I read an editorial in this paper last week endorsing John Bell for delegate over long-time incumbent Bob Marshall. I’m usually skeptical of newspaper endorsements, but I believe you nailed this one.
For years, as you point out, Bob Marshall has been largely ineffective on transportation and other local issues while representing us in Richmond. Tenure typically rewards incumbents and, vicariously,
the district they represent. That hasn’t been the case with Bob Marshall. Marshall’s supporters have subsequently suggested in this paper’s letters section that they view his ineffectiveness as some sort
of positive trait. That’s nothing but a partisan point of view. Even Republican leaders in Richmond don’t want to work with Marshall because of his off- the-wall antics. How can we ever believe Marshall will
be able to fix our roads or improve our schools or bring good-paying jobs to Prince William County if our representative is so toxic that his own party won’t even work with him?
That’s why I’m voting for Major John Bell. Bell has pledged to work with both parties to improve our roads and schools. That’s no easy chore to be sure, but I’m going to put my money on a former military
man. I believe he will focus on those issues. And one thing I know for sure is John Bell won’t waste everyone’s time with a social agenda that does more to alienate legislators than improve Prince William
County.

General (fake) Patton:
And of course everything not agreeing with your lies is a lie, right?
Tell a lie long enough, and eventually people will believe it:
Please note that BullRunPC and I are not the same person.
Get out of your mom’s basement!
Businesminded:
Its election time!Actually, retorting when someone makes a false statement is democracy at work.
It is amazing to me that the same 4 people comment on every political article. Do you people have jobs?
Employee lists, and the clamoring of these companies for more H1b visa workers and other ways around paying citizens legitimate and fair wages through illicit hiring practices. Didn’t UNION 101 class teach you anything? Or shop class for that matter?
General (fake) Patton:
I thought my comparing you and your repeated lies to the Nazi’s Ministry of Propaganda, where you tell a lie enough and people eventually believe it was quite appropriate. And I thought it was clever, if I might say so myself.
“87 of the top 100 companies pay chicken feed or outsource the majority of their jobs or sanction the use of illicit workers, causing lower rates of pay and employment, “ your source is what? The wasted delusions floating through your anarchist mind?
The fixation of Bob - my new name for general patton since he has already admitted he never served in the military and can only have selected his user name based on a over-inflated opinion of himself - with homosexuals says more about Bob than John Bell.
And yet bob still refuses to address Marshalls efforts to reward his boss with tax money! All bob can do is hurl insults and make unsubstantiated accusations. When it comes to real issues and real ideas he is a devoid of these as is his mentor Marshall.
According to a CNN poll, not a Fox news poll, the majority of U.S.citizens don’t agree with BullRunP,PHDEE,John Bell or Jones as far as agreeing with same-sex marriages.
Fifty-four percent of people questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll released Monday say marriages between gay or lesbian couples should not be recognized as valid.
The Marshall-Newman bill which received support from Creigh Deeds who does not support same-sex marriage confirms what the majority in Virginia agree with. It has no affect in discouraging workers of any orientation from coming to Virginia.

Halloween is coming so why don’t you practice your witchcraft somewhere else.
What does Nazi’s have to do with this discussion. Are you obsessed with them as well?I suggest you visit the US Holocaust Museum to educate yourself on the subject.
