LETTER: Kudos to Del. Bob Marshall
Published: July 1, 2009
Congratulations to Virginia Del. Bob Marshall. The U. S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit has upheld Virginia’s long-needed ban on partial birth infanticide, a grisly, barbaric practice in which a living
human baby is killed in the process of being born, or left to die after being born.
The Virginia law authored by Delegate Marshall, HB 1541, first passed in 2003 and had been blocked by lower courts since then. Thanks are also due to Bob McDonnell, Virginia’s Attorney General, for
his long defense of this law and for his skilled advocacy. We look forward to his equally skilled governorship of Virginia after the next election.

I know Del. Marshall and then Gov. Gilmore put their snouts into the Hugh Finn right-to-die matter and got crushed by the state Supreme court and in court itself.
I also know that Bobby G. campaigns on matters like transportation, but when elected he switches to trying to impose his Catholic dogma on the public, especially abortion.
Since he sought advaice and guidance from All Saints catholic Church in Manassas in the Finn case, I was wondering if any of his stanch supporters know if he has introduced legislation on pedophilia in the Catholic priest scandal. After all, it is alleged Bobbvy G. is so big in protecting children.
And mine as well…
Protect the life. of an innocent creature that depend on us to survive is an human obligation, and a right granted at the moment is born like any other human being under the law. How can we call us civilized society ,for not doing that. What more uncivilized is let to die “ kill” with no remorse another human being. However President Obama stand against the life of a baby, born under this kind if procedure. Thank you Del. Marshall, Mr. Bob McDonnell, Virginia’s Attorney General, you got my vote
