» Tonight, from 5 to 8 p.m., “A Night to Celebrate the Arts” will be held at Cedar Point Elementary School, 12601 Braemar Parkway. Events will include an exhibition of framed student art, the Spring Book Fair in the library, a concert highlighting multicultural awareness, an ice cream social, and a free concert by the United States Army Field Band. » Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday Morning Storytime for ages 3 to 5 will be held at the Independent Hill Neighborhood Library, 14418 Bristow Road.
» Thursday at 10:30 a.m., Miss Glenna’s Storytime for ages 3 to 5 will be held at the Nokesville Neighborhood Library, 12993 Fitzwater Drive. The topic is mother’s tales.
» Thursday, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., a knitting/ crochet class will be held at the Nokesville library.
» Saturday, May 30, at 8 a.m., a yard/vendor sale will be held at Buckhall United Methodist Church, 10251 Moore Drive. Yard sale spaces are available for rent for $15, and the church will accept donations for sale on the congregation’s behalf. Vendor spaces are free to businesses, but a donation is requested.
