The Prince William Jaguars Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Basketball Team is looking for volunteers Coaches for the Prince William Jaguars AAU Boys Basketball Team and the Prince William Lady Jaguars Girls Basketball Team. The Prince William Jaguars AAU Basketball Team is part of the Prince William County Sports Athletic Organization, Inc. under the tax-exempt, non-profit 501-c3 organization which was formed under Amateur Athletic Union (AAU). The Prince William Sports Athletic Organization, and Prince William Jaguars Basketball Team are committed to moral growth of boys and girls, created an environment through discipline of basketball whereby they can develop into young men and women who are good citizen, and role models in their family, schools and community in Prince William County. The Prince William County Sports Athletic Organization and the Prince William Jaguars AAU Basketball Team was organized in response to the challenged to increase opportunities for young men and women to develop teamwork, self confidence and self esteem, through structured athletic activities. This team is in the business to enhance the schools and community’s effort to meet the social and educational needs of our young people in Prince William County, Virginia.
QUALIFICATION

•  Must emphasize the importance of continuing education, teamwork and good sportsmanship.

•  Must bring athletes into the program who understands the level of commitment and dedication needed to excel both on and off the court.
•  As a Coach you must participating the basketball team in major tournaments that attract the best competition.
•  Provide the basketball concepts that will equip them with the knowledge, skill and ability to compete at a high level.
•  To increase our players’ exposure, making it possible for recruiters to see and evaluate their basketball talent.
•  Teach and develop fundamental basketball skills in a competitive atmosphere and help prepare the kids for future involvement in Prince William County’s middle school and high school basketball programs.
•  On and off court, Prince William Jaguar AAU Basketball Coach must provide leadership training and enrichment experiences through team play, basketball camps and basketball clinics.
•  Teach and develop good character, respect, hard work, self determination and loyalty which they are the building blocks for the entire basketball team’s success.
•  Must follow rules and procedures under the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Code of Ethics, AAU policies, procedures, and rules interpretations.
•  Coaches will be interview and screen.
•  The Prince William Jaguars AAU Boys Basketball Team has 9U through 16U
•  The Prince William Lady Jaguars AAU Girls Basketball Team has 9U-16U
•  High School Coaches, Middle School Coaches, College Coaches and AAU Basketball Coaches are welcome.
