» Now through Friday, Poetic art Exhibition at the Lorton Workhouse, W-16, second floor, Poetic Art is a benefit for the Yellow Ribbon Fund, a nonprofit organization created in early 2005 to assist our wounded soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan, and their families, while they recuperate at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the National Naval Medical Center.
Neighborhood news: Students, staff walk for housing
Occoquan Elementary School staff and students took part in a mini-walk sponsored by Good Shepherd Housing Foundation on Oct. 21.
Sidewalk near schools unveiled
After months of construction and years of gathering money for the project, a ribbon cutting was held in front of Woodbridge Senior High School for new sidewalks along Old Bridge Road.
