Dominion Woman’s Club donates $1,000 to Bull Run conservancy
Dominion Woman’s Club members raised $1,000 to preserve and protect the Bull Run Mountains. The money was donated to the Bull Run Mountain Conservancy (BRMC) which was founded in 1995 to manage public access on the southern 800 acres of Bull Run Mountains State Natural Area Preserve.
The Dominion Woman’s Club Sisterhood Juniorettes recently donated their time by volunteering at the Conservancy’s popular Annual Halloween Safari. In November, the Conservancy will offer their Fall Forest Breakfast.
Dominion Woman’s Club is a for women 18 and olderwho are interested in serving the needs of and enhancing the communities of Prince William and Fauquier counties throuth volunteer service.
The Bull Run Mountain Conservancy is a private nonprofit organization founded in 1995 to protect the Bull Run Mountains through education, research, and stewardship. BRMC manages public access on the southern 800 acres of the 2,500-acre Bull Run Mountains State Natural Area Preserve and is funded by charitable donations. Manassas clinic collecting coats to donate to SERVE
Manassas Chiropractic and Rehab is collecting food and warm clothing (coats) for Securing Emergency Resources Through Volunteer Efforts Inc. Dr. Steve Lininger will offer a free consultation to anyone making a donation.
The office will transport the donated items to SERVE in Manassas.
