Learn to save lives at Prince William American Red Cross’ Super CPR Sunday

The Prince William American Red Cross and Buckhall Volunteer Fire Department are hosting a Super CPR Sunday event where people can learn lifesaving Adult CPR in just one afternoon so they can be prepared to save a life.

The event will be held Aug. 23 at 1:30 p.m. at Buckhall Volunteer Fire Department, 7190 Yates Ford Road, Manassas. This special Super CPR Sunday class is only $30, compared to the regular price of $55. In addition First Aid kits, CPR barriers, and disaster kits will be available for sale.

Learning basic first aid and CPR can mean the difference between life and death for someone suffering from sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) or other medical emergency. The Prince William Red Cross advises that being able to administer first aid and CPR during the first few minutes of a medical emergency is crucial to the survival and recovery of a victim. Having these skills allows you to become a vital first responder when help is needed.
