Prince William County police are still investigating the motive in the stabbing of a 17-year-old during one of several fights that broke out in the parking lot at Gar-Field Senior High School following a charity event Friday night.

Teen arrested in Gar-Field stabbing

The 17-year-old Gar-Field student who was stabbed several times in a parking lot after a basketball charity event is in stable condition, police said on Saturday.
Another 17-year-old boy is in custody at the Prince William Juvenile Detention Center on an aggravated malicious wounding charge in connection with the Friday night stabbing.

A Gar-Field Senior High School senior was stabbed several times during a melee in the school's parking lot after the Hoops Fest fundraiser.

Man pleads guilty in connection with ‘06 death

A 20-year-old Woodbridge man pleaded guilty in Prince William Circuit Court to three felony charges in connection with the November 2006 stabbing death of Charles Angelos Jr. near Manassas.

Jenkins sentenced to 33 years

Walter Douglas Jenkins has been sentenced to 33 years in prison for the September 2006 murder of Gordon Harris.

Testimony given in man’s death

What started as a disagreement and escalated into a fist fight ended with the death of 46-year-old John Robert Anderson, according to court testimony Thursday.

Man charged with rape

A 23-year-old native of Peru was charged with rape following a police investigation into a Tuesday evening incident.

Prostitution evidence found

Members of the Prince William Police Department's street crimes, special problems and criminal alien units executed a search warrant Tuesday at SKO Therapy at 13628 Jefferson Davis Highway, where they seized $1,987 and evidence of prostitution, said 1st Sgt. Kim Chinn, police spokeswoman.

After deliberating for close to four hours Wednesday afternoon, the jury convicted Walter Douglas Jenkins, 32, of first-degree murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony for Harris’s death.
