Man charged with methadone possession
Police have charged a Manassas area man for possession of methadone. Police arrested Keith Christopher Riggleman, 22, of 10223 Foxborough Court in Manassas, on Monday just before 1 a.m. in the 11900 block of Tac Court in the Manassas area. Riggleman did not have a prescription for the pills, according to Erika Hernandez, spokeswoman for Prince William County police. Riggleman was held on $2,500 bond.
Man, 19, resists arrest
A man who refused to leave a family member’s house in the Bristow area has been charged with trespassing and resisting arrest. Robert Louis Ranghelli, 19, was arrested Saturday around 5:15 p.m. in the 12200 block of Sherborne Street in the Bristow area, when the residents of the house asked Ranghelli to leave. When he refused they called police, said Erika Hernandez, spokeswoman for Prince William County police. He resisted arrested when police arrived. Ranghelli was held on $3,000 bond.
Three charged with mob assault
Two men and a juvenile have been charged with mob assault for the beating of a 24-year-old Gainesville area woman. On Saturday police were called to the 15100 block of Gaffney Circle in the Gainesville area about a fight. They arrived to find the woman who had been punched in the face. She was taken to the hospital and treated for her injuries. Her husband was also assaulted when he tried to help his wife, said Erika Hernandez, spokeswoman for Prince William County police. He suffered minor injuries. Marcus Deontae, 20, and Chavon Haley, 19, both of 15125 Gaffney Circle were charged with assault. Both were held on a $2,500 bond. The juvenile, a 17-year-old from Warrenton, was released by police to a family member.

BRISTOW AREA
-An iPod, pocket knife, coins and video games were stolen from an unlocked car between 4 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 p.m. Monday, in the 9800 block of Upper Mill Loop. The stolen property is valued at $395.
GAINESVILLE AREA
-A 2000 Honda Accord, valued at $5,000, was stolen from the 7500 block of Linton Hall Road on Saturday around 10 a.m. The victim parked her car in a restaurant parking lot and when she returned it was gone.
HAYMARKET AREA
-A Ford F-150 pickup, a generator, two power washers, three grass trimmers and a saw were stolen around 5:30 p.m. Thursday and 7:15 a.m. Friday from the 7600 block of Jude Drive in the Haymarket area. The stolen property is valued at $8,430.
MANASSAS AREA
-A window was smashed in the 8000 unit block of Ashland Avenue in the Manassas area after someone threw a work boot at it. The incident happened on Saturday around 4:30 p.m. No one was injured.
-Jewelry valued at $700 was stolen from a home in the 7300 block of Rokeby Drive between Saturday around 3 p.m. and Sunday around 2 a.m. A locked window was broken.
-Someone broke into a home in the 7800 block of Tayloe Drive on Sunday between 2 - 8:30 p.m. Nothing was stolen.
-A business was vandalized in the 7200 block of Jacksonville Avenue on Sunday between 10:45 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Nothing was stolen.
-Someone broke into a vacant house in the 10400 block of Paradise Court between 7 p.m. Sept. 24 and 4 p.m. Saturday. A locked window was broken.
-An unlawful entry was reported in the 7800 block of Community Drive on Saturday. There were no signs of forced entry.
-A 2007 Kia Sorento was stolen from the 8200 block of Community Drive on Saturday around 9:45 a.m. The victims said they watched as two black males, between 20-23-years-old, both 5’10, 140 pounds, black hair, wearing denim jeans and gray sweatshirts get into their car and drive away. The car is valued at $13,000.
-A 1998 Dodge Caravan, valued at $2,500, was stolen from a driveway in the 9500 block of Salem Street on Saturday around 11 a.m.
-Two air compressors, three nail guns and a generator were stolen from two work vans in the 8000 block of Coachcrest Court on Friday between 12 – 4 p.m. A door lock on one of the vans was broken.
-A satellite radio, golf clubs and a gold bag were stolen from a car parked in the 9800 block of Greenview Lane on Saturday around 7 p.m. The stolen property was valued at $2,145.
