The Prince William County-Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce will spend a lot of time this month with its representatives to the General Assembly in Richmond.

On Tuesday the organization, along with the Prince William Regional Chamber of Commerce, will host its annual Legislative Kick-Off Breakfast at the Montclair Country Club, 16500 Edgewood Drive, Montclair. The session will begin at 8 a.m.

The two chambers will join forces to provide members an opportunity to learn about the issues that the General Assembly will focus on.

The event serves as a forum for local businesses to share their concerns and questions with the state representatives while learning where these policymakers stand on a variety of issues, such as transportation and education, that affect county residents on a day-to-day basis.

The cost is $25 per person and will include breakfast.

Chamber Day at the Capitol will be held Jan. 28 and a carpool from the chamber will leave Manassas at 6:30 a.m. The Virginia Chamber of Commerce coordinates this full-day field trip, which will include a series of guest speakers and visits with local delegates and senators.
