Police blotter for Nov. 13
Prince William police reported the following incidents:
Dale City
n An attempted armed robbery occurred Saturday around 11:40 p.m. in the parking lot of a con-venience store located in the 14400 block of Minnieville Road in Dale City.
The victim, a 17-year-old boy from Manassas, reported that he was sitting in the rear passenger seat of his friend's car when an unknown man opened the driver's side door and began to search through the car. The assailant then demanded money from the victim and began to grab the victim's pants pockets.
The assailant threatened the victim with a knife when he refused to give him any money. The assailant left the scene in a four-door green car without taking anything from the victim.
The victim was not injured during the robbery attempt. The assailant is described as a white man, between 21 and 24 years old, approximately 6 feet 1 inch tall with a medium build.
n A video game system, video games, jewelry, VCR/DVD player, a video camcorder, prescription medication and cash valued at $2,150 were stolen from a house in the 13400 block of Kingsman Road in Dale City.
The incident occurred Sunday between 5:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The victim reported that she returned home from work and found some areas in her house had been disturbed and items had been removed.
Entry to the house was gained by breaking a basement window.
n A Woodbridge man reported his vehicle was struck with an unknown object while driving down Ridgefield Road.
The incident occurred Sunday around 6 p.m. in the area of Ridgefield Road and Dale Boulevard. The 44-year-old victim stopped to check his 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe and noticed that the front passenger side door was damaged.
The victim was not injured during the incident.
Dumfries<p>
n An attempted statutory burglary occurred Sunday between 6:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. in the 4100 block of Ashmere Circle.
The victim reported that someone had tampered with the rear sliding glass door of his house. No one entered the home and nothing was stolen.
Dumfries
n A 16-year-old Montclair boy reported his vehicle was struck by an unknown object while driving in the area of the Montclair golf course.
The incident occurred Nov. 5, around 5:40 p.m. in the 15800 block of Northgate Drive in Mont-clair. The victim was driving in the area of the Montclair Golf Course when the passenger window of his vehicle was struck with an unknown object.
The window of the 2004 Honda Civic shattered into pieces. The victim was not injured during the incident.
Manassas area
n An air conditioning unit valued at $300 was stolen from the 8100 block of Sinclair Mill Road between Nov. 6 around 10 a.m. and Sunday around 11:30 a.m.
n A pharmacy located in the 8500 unit block of Sudley Road was broken into but nothing was stolen.
The incident took place Monday around 4:46 a.m. The police responded to investigate an alarm to the pharmacy and when they arrived they found a door forced open.
Woodbridge
n An attempted armed robbery occurred Sunday around 1:40 a.m. in the 1300 block of Horner Road.
The four victims said they were approached by two unknown men who demanded money. One of the suspects was armed with a knife.
The victims took off running and the suspects chased them down the street. During the attempted robbery one of the victims was punched in the mouth, which caused a small laceration on his upper lip. A second victim was punched in the stomach.
The first culprit is described as Hispanic, between 20 and 25 years old, approximately 6 feet tall, thin, wearing a white sweater with a hoodie, blue jeans and a beanie cap. The second was de-scribed as Hispanic, between 20 and 25 years old, approximately 5 foot 10 inches tall, thinly built and wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
The suspects left the scene in a green van.
