Police said Jesse Brian Ellyson had no pants on when he approached two girls in Lake Ridge and asked them for directions earlier this month.

Now he is wearing jailhouse jumpsuit.

Ellyson was arrested Monday after police said he exposed himself to two 13-year-old girls on Thursday in the area of Cotton Mill Drive and Hedges Run Court in Lake Ridge.

On June 20, police say Ellyson was in the same area again — this time without pants — and approached a 14-year-old and 15-year-old girl.

He asked the girls for directions and exposed himself, then made lewd gestures toward them, said Prince William police spokeswoman Erika Hernandez.

And on June 3, a 17-year-old girl who was walking on Darbydale Avenue near Eastman Drive in Dale City became a victim when police allege Ellyson exposed himself to her.

Ellyson, 40, of 4610 Hamilton Drive in Dale City, has been charged with two counts of taking indecent liberties with children and three counts of indecent exposure, Hernandez said.

Ellyson was held with no bond and is scheduled to appear in a Prince William County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.

Ellyson is a known violent sex offender, according to the Virginia State Police.

He was convicted on Jan. 25, 2001 for taking indecent liberties with children, according to their sex offender registry.

Police are still looking into other cases where people have reported that a man has harassed others with sexual or lewd comments or behaviors.

Police said a boy exposed himself to a 33-year-woman and an 8-year-old girl on June 3 while they were on a walking path behind some houses in Lake Ridge.

The boy came up to them, near the 12700 of Ripple Creek Court, and asked for their help in putting a turtle that he found back into the woods.

After they both agreed the boy then walked away, turned around and shouted at them. When they turned and looked, both saw that he had pulled down the front of his shorts.

He then jumped onto a silver-colored bike and rode away.

The day before, police said a man walked up to the front door of a Lake Ridge home, in the 3500 block of Golf Side Circle, and harassed a 28-year-old woman inside.

The man knocked on the door just prior to midnight, but the woman didn’t answer because she didn’t recognize him.

The man then went to her window and knocked on it, police said.

The woman eventually answered the door and then the man began asking questions and exhibiting lewd behavior.

Staff writer Uriah A. Kiser can be reached at 703-878-8065.

Correction:
Police did not say if Ellyson got out of his car when he allegedly exposed himself to the victims.

I like a low tide burial up to the neck at the beach. Then covered in honey and let loose the fire ants. Cruel and unusual could be said for all capital penalties when they were first used. Let’s make it the standard. A whole lot cheaper and I bet that would be a deterent to some. Certainly there are some crimes where the general public deserves a little vindication.

There is no rehabilitation for this type of criminal behavior.  My suggestion would be to give these individuals a one-way ticket on the next space shuttle.

Put him in prison.  The inmates have their own justice for him in there

The idiot will appear in Juvenile and Domestic Court because the victim is a juvenile.  He appears there to protect the victim.

He will be dealt with as an adult.

This didn’t just start in 2001. He did this same thing when we were both teenagers back in 1982. I tried reporting that he had changed his name, but since he was a child, I guess those records are sealed. This has been going on for years under a different name as well. Hopefully PWC will get their act together and throw away the key.

Can someone explain why this idiot is “sceduled to appear in Juvenile & Domestic Relations court” versus Criminal Court or whatever court is called for adult felons? He needs both a castraion and lobotomy.
