Can you imagine taking a dream vacation to Hawaii, driving in the car of your dreams, or even winning the lottery — all in one night?
The Forest Park High School Parent Teacher Student Organization will present a unique comedy experience to Virginia audiences Nov. 7.
The organization will feature nationally known comedy hypnotist Jason Linett, who will present one show as a fundraiser for the Class of 2010 All Night Grad Party at 7 p.m.
“It’s the ultimate reality show,” Linett said. “The hypnosis show combines the fun of audience participation with the incredible abilities of the mind.”
Audiences can expect to see willing volunteers rapidly induced into a hypnotic trance and then given funny suggestions. Some of Linett’s favorite suggestions include turning himself invisible and turning volunteers into celebrity impersonators.
Linett has performed at schools, comedy venues and corporate events across the country.
“The traditional hypnotic show in the past was humor at the expense of the audience members,” Linett said. “During my show I highlight the talents and creativity of the volunteers to make them the stars of the show. I don’t embarrass them and I even try to not let them embarrass themselves.”
Jason Linett is a certified hypnotist with the National Guild of Hypnotists, the largest hypnotherapy organization in the world. He is also the author of nearly a dozen self-help audio hypnosis programs ranging from weight loss to smoking cessation.
The family comedy show will be presented in the auditorium of Forest Park High School at 15721 Forest Park Drive.
Tickets are on sale now for $8 and will be available at the door for $10.
