» Tonight, 7:30 to 9 p.m.: Gainesville District Supervisor, John Stirrup will hold a town hall meeting to discuss the Land Use and Transportation chapter for the county's comprehensive plan. The meeting will be held at Battlefield High School, 15000 Graduation Drive in Haymarket. Call the planning office at 703-792-6830 for more information.

» Saturday, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.: The Virginia Gateway shopping center, at the intersection of Linton Hall Road and U.S. 29 in Gainesville, will hold Taste of Virginia Gateway. Buffalo Wild Wings, Chili's Grill & Bar, Chi-potle, Cold Stone Creamery, Cork & Fork, Five Guys, Honey Baked Ham Co. & Cafe, IHOP, Margherita NY Pizza, Mimi's Café, Papa John's Pizza, Panera Bread, Pizzeria Uno's, Qdoba Mexican Grill, Ruby Tuesday and Starbucks Coffee are participating and a portion of the proceeds will benefit SERVE. There will also be live music, a moon bounce and other entertainment.

» Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.: The Gainesville-Haymarket, Manassas and Bull Run Rotary clubs will sponsor the third annual Children's Wellness Festival at Metz Middle School. See wellnessfestival.org for more information.

» Monday, 7 p.m.: A college fair for students and parents in the western Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park, will be held at Stonewall Jackson High School, 8820 Rixlew Lane, Manassas. For a list of colleges that will attend, visit http://www.sjraiders.org.
