Hoadly fire displaces one

One person was displaced after a fire broke out at Manassas home Saturday evening.

At approximately 10 p.m., Prince William County Fire and Rescue units responded to a structure fire in a two-story single family home located at 7243 Kings Arm Dr. in Manassas. 

Upon arrival, units discovered a fire in the basement with smoke showing from the front and side of the home. The fire was suppressed in the basement with no further extension to the home.

No injuries were reported. The Red Cross was contacted to assist with displacement of one resident. The origin and cause of the fire remain under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office.
