» Today from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.: The Prince William County-Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce will host a fundraiser at Bertucci's Italian Restaurant in Gainesville. The restaurant will donate 10 percent of a customer's total bill to the chamber's scholarship fund.
» Thursday from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.: Celebrity Bartenders will be in action at LaCapilla restaurant to benefit Be a Santa to a Senior.
» Thursday at 7 p.m.: A free movie, "The Horror of Dracula," will be shown at the Bull Run Regional Library's Community Room.
» Friday at 10:30 a.m.: Bull Run Regional Library will host a Halloween Party and Puppet Show. Sandy Feulner of Puppets and More will present two short puppet shows: "Witch Gets Ready" and "Witch's Winter Kitchen." The program is free and is for all ages.
» Friday: The 12th annual United Way/Williams/Transco Bowling Tournament will be at Bull Run Bowl America to benefit the United Way agencies.
» Nov. 4 through Dec. 17: An art exhibit by Lu Wyer Harris, who has visually referenced the charms of many places to which she has traveled to create a vibrant body of multi-media works, and Catherine Hill, who works primarily in watercolor to also create works of people, places and things with complexity in execution and an eye for unique detail at Center for the Arts.
» Nov. 7 at 11 a.m.: Veterans Day Parade through Old Town presented by American Legion Post No. 10. After the parade, from noon to 4 p.m., the second annual Community Covenant Event will be at the Harris Pavilion featuring entertainment, reenactments and children's activities.
