A resident of Jackson, Mo., Sievers will cite Steven Walts, superintendent of Prince William Public Schools; Gail Pope, superintendent of Manassas Public Schools; and Thomas DeBolt, superintendent of Manassas Park Public Schools, for their "devoted and unselfish service to the welfare of the commu-nity and for their support, cooperation and commitment to bring out the best in children."

He will be the guest of the Optimist International Club of Manassas.

I noticed the sign for the Optimists International on Route 28 today at Manassas Dr. while waiting for a red light. I had never heard of the organization before and now I see this article about them on the same day.
