Neighborhood news: Henderson Holiday Shop

Henderson Elementary PTCO will hold its Holiday Shop on Dec. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fun Services will provide items for children of all ages to purchase for family and friends, with assistance from elf helpers.

There will be concessions.

PWC Model Railroad Clu

Share the magic of the holidays with model trains courtesy of the Prince William County Model Railroad Club . The PWMRC model railroad in the historic Quantico Depot will be open to the public on the following days: Every Saturday in December (except Dec. 26), and Dec. 6, for the Quantico Christmas Parade.

Admission is free.

Shop and wine

Grab your girlfriends and head to Wine Styles (next to Giorgio's) on Dec. 3 for ladies night, featuring Lia Sophia from 7 to 9 p.m.

The $10 cost includes a buffet, dessert and a variety of house-selected wines for a tasting.

Also enjoy shopping with Lia Sophia and gifts giveaways every 30 minutes. All items ordered will be shipped within a week and gift wrapped.

Wine Styles gift baskets will be available for cash and carry.

Montclair senior

The deadline to purchase tickets for the Dec. 10 Annual Montclair Seniors Holiday Party at the Montclair Country Club is Dec. 4. Tickets are available, starting Monday, for $5 each (check or money orders only) at the MPOA Office. All Montclair seniors are welcome to come.

MPOA & subassociation new

The Southlake Recreation Association will hold its annual meeting on Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. at the Southlake Recreation Center.
