Get ready, get set, get shopping!

The annual Occoquan Arts and Craft Show returns Saturday and Sunday in the historic town of Occoquan.

About 260 exhibitors and vendors will present their finest works. The show will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Along with the expected variety of crafts available, more entertainment has been added to the event this year. The Woodbridge Dance Company will be on hand for an exhibition.

The Woodbridge Dance Company was named by the Prince William Chamber of Commerce in 2008 as the "Best Cultural and Arts Organization of the Year."

Also, the Coffee House of Occoquan will once again host live bands during the craft show.

With the typically large crowd expected at the craft show, visitors are asked to park outside of town and take one of three shuttle buses. The buses will run from three commuter lots: Vulcan Materials property along Va. 123 in Fairfax County; the corner of Va. 123 and Old Bridge Road; and the corner of Minnieville and Old Bridge roads.

Organizers of the show are giving visitors plenty of time to enjoy the event, since the shuttles will run continuously from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. both days.

The Occoquan Arts and Crafts Show is free. However, there is a $4 charge per person to ride the shuttle buses. Children 12 or younger ride free.
