» Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.: Leesylvania State Park is offering a Day on the Half Shell. Join the living classrooms at Leesylvania for the opportunity to spend a day aboard a historic Chesapeake Bay Buy Boat, Half Shell. Throughout the day children and families will have the chance to participate in hands-on sci-ence activities, explore aquatic life, and learn the history of buy boats in the Chesapeake Bay. » Saturday, July 11, 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.: Potomac Community Library's 'Tween Zone will feature a fencing demonstration: Have Blade, Will Travel. The event is for students entering fourth through 12th grades. Register in person or by phone.
