The Woodbridge Woman’s Club will sponsor its 45th annual fashion show, “We’ve Come a Long Way,” and luncheon at Westminster at Lake Ridge on Nov. 7. Fashions from Details of Occoquan, a women’s boutique specializing in “Made in America” clothing, will be featured. Proprietor Cathy Campbell has selected clothing and accessories suitable for women of all ages.
The fashion show is the club’s major fundraising event. Proceeds are used to provide scholarships to students selected from the six high schools in Woodbridge. To date, the club has awarded approximately $70,000 in scholarships.
In addition to a delicious luncheon, a raffle, door prizes and a silent auction will add to the festivities. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the luncheon begins at 12:15 p.m. Tickets are available for $35 and may be obtained from Phyllis Zimmerman at 703-590-8580.
