LETTER: 51st District race disappoints
Published: October 13, 2009
After reading the article about the race in the 51st District I was simply, for lack of a better term, disappointed. I was very excited when I saw that someone like Anderson was going to be running against
Del. Nichols. I honestly believed that this race was going to be different; however, Anderson proved me wrong. I believe Anderson needs to apologize for trying to scare voters and tarnish the legislative
record of a delegate who has done nothing but try to help the voters of the 51st District. Rich Anderson should be ashamed.

Shameful scare tactics there phdee, do you always do this when your candidate is losing?
ph,
Either there are multiple people logging in under your screen name, you are high a large percentage of the time, or there are some serious bipolar things going on there.
If the latter guess is accurate, it is truly a shame the other person living in your head is also a political dimwit.
Anderson is brain dead. As a military guy, he has been brainwashed into just following orders—- now he runs on a carbon copy of McDonnell’s programs.
With no tax increases, and with budget defits, McDonnells’ programs will hit the mental health, elderly, the poor, the schools, etc.—i.e those most vulnerable and in need of help. Aftrer all, he will have to get the money from somewhere. And it’s always in these areas.
Scare women, old people, minorities…list goes on.
I believe Deeds is running on a “scare women in to believeing that, were McDonnell to be elected, they’ll be sent back to the caveman age of being dragged about by their hair.
If any politician still has the ability to disappoint you, you haven’t been around long enough.
Shame on Anderson! Just sleazy!
