LETTER: Congratulations to candidates
Published: November 6, 2009
Congratulations to all candidates. It is a pleasure to have conservatives strongly representing our commonwealth. I am hoping everyone elected in our commonwealth will work together for the betterment
of Virginia no matter what their political affiliation.
Conservatives will continue to be fair and balanced and value the traditions of family, God and country. I hope everyone will come on board to clean up this economy and bring back the wholesomeness of
Virginia.
We need to get real and continue to work hard alongside our new governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general and delegates to set planned policies in place. I am expecting that our elected officials will
do and mean what they said to do.
Let’s embrace this light that God has shed on Virginia, on America!

“I am expecting that our elected officials will do and mean what they said to do”.
Ha Ha Ha Ha….you must be high!
I never expect that from either party.
It’s cool that that states can opt out of it, grant it that it only covers so few and is more expensive then first estimated by the CBO at 1.2 trillion.
Look out! Here come the right wing bible thumpers invoking God.
So maybe God took the day off last year when Democrats took the Presidency, House and Senate? Or maybe God just really wants a health care reform bill.
What a bunch of goofballs.
I am looking forward to that “wholesomeness of Virginia” mentioned by the writer. Say—I have an idea. Why don’t we just enact McDonnell’s college thesis into law?
Ms.Andrews,
Your letter reflects what the majority of fair minded, educated, respectful Americans embrace.
It was a beautiful day on November 3rd and even more beautiful day on November 5th when over 20,000 Americans let their voices be heard on the steps of the Capitol to voice their concerns with the healthcare reform bill.
It was not such a great day for Virginians when Congressman Connolly bullied a petite woman with arrest who was simply trying to get his attention to ask a question as he was fleeing his office from his constituents who were there to express their concerns with the health care reform bill.
Fox News let 8 million listeners know about Congressman Connolly’s actions. Northern Virginians need to remember Congressman Connolly’s actions in 2010.
