LETTER: Do Iranians want Democracy more?

Wow, wouldn’t it be wonderful if the American people showed the same zeal for fair elections as the Iranian people.
I wonder if Mr. Obama would be our president with out the support of a corrupt organization called Acorn?

Nah, she looked normal ... and displayed no hatred towards liberals.
Yes, I won quite a few awards with that photo. It was taken at Walter Reed and originally color which I converted to black and white. It ads more impact. That is a fine example of 1 out of thousands of youngsters I saw losing arms and legs in Iraqui Freedom, getting fitted with there prosthetics while I was getting my own body repaired from injuries that fell apart a decade from the freedom mission. It was not nearly as common during Desert Storm/Gulf War. I wish I could post a photo link here to open up some of the eyes of our members.

I really enjoyed the photo you e-mailed me. Very powerful. At the risk of getting political; I feel angry seeing photos like that, because is the price our young people pay for the arrogance of people like G.W. Bush, and his enablers, who think war is all glory and adventure just like their video games. But those enablers will never have the courage to go and actually serve our country.

Why do you assume 9/11 would have happened if G.W. Bush had not been given a stolen election, courtesy of his Republican friends on the Supreme Court, and his daddy’s lawyers?
More than likely, President Gore would have paid attention to the intel briefing and taken action; as he did in late 1999 which resulted in stopping the planned “millennium” attacks in Los Angeles and other places on the US west coast.
But, there’s that alternate history thingy again. Liberals live in the real world as it is, as opposed to Conservatives that make up their own reality as they go along.

Barack Obama is throwing hundreds of billions of tax payers BORROWED money hoping to create some temporary jobs.
Welfare and food stamps would have done just fine for a few months until some more capable company buys Chrysler, GM or any other corporations and opens the new old jobs.
It would have been a lot cheaper than borrowing trillions.
