LETTER; In support of Del. Marshall

» 12 Comments | Post a Comment

I write in support of Del. Bob Marshall for the 13th District House seat.

Some of your readers will know me as an attorney in private practice in Woodbridge from 1986 to 1996. I remember the Prince William County/Manassas area well!

I supported Bob Marshall because he is a man of integrity who is a strong libertarian conservative. He stands for principles. He brought the suit to stop unconstitutional taxation by unelected boards after
opposing it, and the state Supreme Court agreed unanimously. The tax plan was unconstitutional.

Del. Marshall also was instrumental in keeping Virginia out of the REAL ID system.

When a GOP leader was involved in a sex scandal, Del. Marshall led the drive to remove him office.

You can count on Del. Marshall to say what he means and means what he says. But he also listens to constituent ideas. I proposed a bill to make it easier for parents to collect unpaid child support.
Del. Marshall was strongly supportive and his next child support bill (which I didn’t write) was co-sponsored by a Del. from Virginia Beach named McDonnell!

Maybe some disagree with some of Del. Marshall’s positions, and he occasionally lays an egg, but you can count on Del. Marshall to stand for the voters and residents (and especially the taxpayers) of
the 13th.

And while you are at bashing organizations who have committed fraud in contracting care to criticize Lockheed-Martin or Northrup-Grumman? Oh thats right you only bash minority based organizations over fictitious fraud and try at blame unions for all the worlds ills. I seem to recall the it was WR Grace that poisoned the water in wells and Johns Manville that poisoned workers for 40 years with asbestos ah but business can do no wrong and unions are the only source of all thing ill. You never answered me regarding the work environment built on the backs of unions. Got any kids who got paid overtime etc.

Oh and on the alleged 10 year old charges - the fact that the meat rots out of sight doesn’t change the stink. And you STILL can not explain Marshalls blatant attempt at abuse of office to the tune of 1.2 million taxpayer dollars.

BullRunPc:

Since you typically comment without factual information to back up your comments. Let me educate you on the unions who are funding John Bell and other Democrats who are losing in this race in Virginia.

A quick fact sheet on ACORN:

ACORN-SEIU “Allied Organizations”
1.    ACORN’s biggest union backer, the Service Employees International Union, gave more than $4 million to the community organization and its affiliates from 2006-07, according to Dept. of Labor filings.

2.    The President of the SEIU sits on ACORN’s advisory council.

3.    One SEIU local union, the Illinois Homecare Workers and Home Childcare Providers,  sprouted from ACORN’s organizing efforts and pays rent to ACORN.

4.    SEIU Locals 100 and 880 are identified as allied organizations on ACORN’s website.

5.    U.S. Department of Labor LM-2’s (financial disclosure forms) point to over $600,000 in transactions between SEIU Locals 100 and 880 locals and other ACORN operations

6.    ACORN founder S. Wade Rathke referred to mega-union SEIU 880 as “one of the pillars of the ACORN Family.“

7.    Service Employees International Union (SEIU) President Andy Stern hand picked ACORN’s Rathke to direct SEIU’s nationwide organizing projects.

So BullRunPC, I suggest that you know the facts before to type your next response about Del.Marshall.

BullRunPC - Your taking a page out of Deed’s playbook - trying to resurrect ancient (10 years old) stuff.  Marshall has won reelection 5 times since, so to voters this it obviously a non-issue.

Don’t underestimate the South Riding voters.  Bobby ‘Luv Canal’ Marshall might just find himself out of a job.

Its all about credibility.  Most people really want to live in the 21st century.

Liberalised;

Hillary Clinton is not a “his”. Too much booze?

How about Hillary Clinton who took in millions from a wealthy businessman in order for business to be directed his way. Of course she is shielded by the SEIU, ACORN and Ol’ Bummer.

BullRunPC:

I think you are wrong about the true identity of GeneralPatton, a fake general.

Thye “general” is actually a relic from the Nazi’s Propaganda Ministry, headed by Goebels. The Republicans have brought him out of retirement(he came here after WWII). The “general” is an expert in the Nazi dogma of:  Tell a lie long enough and the people will eventually believe it.

The same tactic applies to his phony title of “general”. He has copied the real Gen. Patton’s action of slapping people around, and has applied it to his posts.

Mr. Sanders, do you not think that Bob Marshall had a responsibility to offer an alternative to the NVTA? It’s one thing to sue and win, it’s another to provide real solutions or at least ideas in place of the NVTA. Marshall has provided neither.

General Patton - you can play the union card all day but if you do, expect a reply. You allege undo influence by SEIU. Can we then say that John C Grimberg Co. bought Bob Marshall because, unlike your allegation against Bell, Marshall actually took action to benefit a big contributor and his boss. What about the 1.2 million dollars of taxpayer funds he tried to steer to Grimberg? Sounds like a quid pro quo to me. Care to explain that one Bob? What about you GP, oh thats right your one in the same.
