LETTER; Pick Marshall for the 13th
Published: October 30, 2009
I am disappointed but not shocked at the News & Messenger not endorsing incumbent state Del. Bob Marshall. Bob’s record demonstrates his opposition to intrusive big government, which is the cause
of many of our problems on both the state and national level. He has been truly influential in the Virginia as a voice of reason — for example when he sued to stop the unconstitutional taxing scheme that
allowed unelected bodies to raise taxes for roads. He won in the Virginia Supreme Court 7-0. I suggest News & Messenger should base their endorsement on facts and not their partisan beliefs. N&M
should carefully examine the facts of Bob’s longstanding demonstrated record of tangible accomplishments in Virginia state government as a senior state delegate, principled politician and voice of the
common man who consistently supports the people. Your perceptions cannot be any more wrong and distorted.

“Are you SURE you’re not due for a ride in a jeep?“ No, but I can arrange one to pick you up!
While Delegate Marshall was out meeting with constituents in his district, guess where John Bell was? Democratic blogsite Blue Virginia wants you to know.
Revealing a publicly available arrest record is not a crime. Lying about one’s past should be.
:et’s see. There are the paranoid ones like Liberalised who harp and carp on Nichols arrest record, trying to support Anderson’s possible criminal act. They claim Nichols was supposed to himself reveal it.
Well, has big Bobby G. revealed in his campaign his disastrous defeat, along with Va. govenor and the All Saints Catholic Church priests in the Hugh Finn right-to-die case? It was a real massacre in court. If he hasn’t run on that in his campaign, Bobby G. should come clean, be honest, and let the voters and public know. This way everyone who doesn’t already know of his social agenda can see it first hand.
Bobby G. is an enormous embarrassment to PWC. Needs to be put to rest and have last rites said.

Are you SURE you’re not due for a ride in a jeep?
To all of the wonderful liberals who post!

Liberaliesed:
BullRun takes his marching orders from a group of women.Weak kneed liberals tend to do that.
All i can say is 7 billion debt caused by Kaine and Wagner is enough for me to vote multiple times for McDonnell. Marshall isn’t even in my district but i am voting for him too. If some people can stuff the ballot box, vote illegally, and vote multiple times, then why can’t i?
Clearly you have never visited the Bell web site. If you had you would have seen John’s 10 point plan for transportation, his plans for growing our economy in the 13th among others.
You are as bad as GP in trying to divert attention from Republican candidates real agendas. McD will gut public education in favor of charter and private schools. If Cucii wins you can count on VA being a legal laughing stock and the erosion of womens rights.
Mark my words - McD will have an excuse for not attempting his bogus transportation plan by March should he win. He knows it can’t work and is selling a bill of goods to the voters who will never see any improvement in our traffic coming from the governors mansion.
Only actions by representatives and senators like John Bell will make the changes we need here in NOVA.
In other words bullrun you are beating that dead horse and projecting no solutions for Creigh Deeds or John Bell, keep on beating it. People want real solutions and Creigh Deeds and John Bell don’t have any.
“The only person who has a record to hide from is Bobby G.“
Actually Bobby Mc is running away from his record also. Once elected, all his promises of “Smoke & Mirrors” will go by the wayside and his Social Agenda will come to the forefront.
These guys run from their social agenda because they know it turns off most voters - real voters who want real solutions to our transportation woes, to job creation and sound fiscal management - such as Creigh Deeds can deliver.
