LETTER: Untruth in voting guide

Sunday’s voting guide contains a clear untruth to anyone who can think for themselves. That the newspaper contributes to this untruth shows the biases of the editorial staff.  A law abiding private citizen
can sell their weapon to another law abiding citizen Virginia resident. 

This is really no different than if a citizen sells their vehicle to another citizen. There is NO SUCH THING AS A GUN-SHOW LOOPHOLE. To suggest there is is to imply people are breaking the law. I can
choose to sell a weapon while at a gun show and it is the SAME as if I invite someone to my house to legally buy a weapon. Just because someone chooses to legally sell their weapon(s) at a gun show
does not make for a loophole. Instead of continuing to spread “untruths” why not try to really educate the public.  Not doing so exposes your bias against law abiding citizens.
