LETTER: What is Torian’s background?

» 22 Comments | Post a Comment

Now that the Democratic primary is over, I am VERY curious as to the educational background of Luke Torian. Never once that I saw was anything published about
military, college, etc. How about searching or digging and let the citizens of Prince William County know the truth?

joni:

I’m still waiting for that PERSONAL EXPERIENCE you claimed you had the unions are outdated and that they were the cause of the auto meltdown.

Don’t have any?

Don’t you have the fortitude, strength and courage to admit you have none, and that you are a chronic, habitual and pathological liar?

all politicians are for low taxes and good education, (it’s kind of like a beauty pageant when the last line of every speech is “and world peace”)(a little joke btw in case you didn’t recognize it)I was looking back on the web because I think I read someplace that even tho he was a Liberal Democrat, he did not agree with the Gay Marriage issue and that he was in favor of the government stimulus(I am still doing a search to find that letter)and those are the areas we disagree. I was unable to ever locate his stand on the Choice issue. I do like the idea of fixing transportation (and both parties have been calling for the ferry and fixing the roads for decades so it isn’t a Democrat issue) but lets face it, every single politicians wants that. (again, like world peace) I thought Mike Hodge was the better choice because he has been in public service for decades and while I did not agree with many of his stances on issues either, he seems the most in touch with Virginia. I also wanted to see more facts on Dr Torian’s separation of his flock and the citizens.  I also never heard an explanation to some questions brought up about his fund raising.

I still feel the original writer of this letter only wrote it to make trouble and I only answered it to say I thought it was a low blow and that if the writer had used their brain, they could have found the information about him that I found in less than 2 mins.

Joni,
I see why the bloggers on this site give you grief. Maybe you should do some fact finding before posting.

You say you don’t agree with DR. LUKE TORIAN’s policies.

He is pro-choice because he wants to protect a woman’s rights. He doesn’t advocate abortion.

He is pro-education.

As a fiscal conservative he advocates low taxes.

I don’t know if you’re in his voting district or not, but Prince William needs Dr. Torian much more than he needs this job!

“Hold Elected Officials Accountable” has sunk to referring to former Dumfries Town Councilman Rafael Lopez as:

“A 26 year old arrogant punk, who works as a network engineer and is unable to make time to meet his campaign obligations. He simply isn’t ready to step up to the job of Delegate.“

Where do we begin?  First of all, he is in his 30s, is married and has two children.  Second of all, he places value on hard work and sometimes can’t make a campaign appearance because he does have a job like most people he is seeking to represent (the House of Delegates IS part-time and its members are expected to have jobs outside.)  Compare that to Pastor Torian who reportedly is fleecing his flock for a six-figure salary (preaching the Word of God is NOT supposed to be a money-making endeavor—but I guess he fails to read those Biblical passages.)

Joni, so you have PERSONAL EXPERIENCE (sic) that unions are outdated and that they are the cause of the major downfall in the car industry.

And just what is this PETRSONAL EXPERIENCE?  I say you have NO EXPERIEN whatsoever.  Your previous posting on unions PROVED you know NOTHING about unions, whether you like them or not.

And your memory must be fading - if you have one - on the claim CEO sign union contracts for pay/benefits.  Stop trying to blame your ignorance on the PC keyboard.  I don’t know of a keyboard that has memory and the ability to be creative.  What’s the matter:  your mind and finers can’t get together? Ha ha ha ha.

I will do my best to find the posting on unions.  It may take a while.  The subject/topics of postings don’t always match some of the topics discussed in the respondent’s replies.

I find it interesting that you always have an alibi (and denial) for an error.  Your opinions are often based on “nonsense” and “error” when you begin an opinion.

Thanks, I’m having a wonderful day…  You continue to flatter yourself that you really stand for consistent principles and that people attack you because they are part of the Evil Empire that is trying to take over the world and find your “ideas” to be a threat to their conspiracy.  The fact is that you are your own worst enemy, and an inconsistent one at that…  You are consistently proven wrong time and time again—not only by refutation and fact but by the simple expedient of showing you your own inconsistencies.  This is the BIG FACT that you have to face up to…  You don’t want medical reform but you’re angry that you mom has insuffient care but you don’t step in to do what is necessary to help her.  I mean, where is the consistency here?  You don’t like haters but you hate the government which represents a lot of people, many of whom are working hard for all of us.  The United States did not become as great as it is by having the government you describe.  Consistency?  The best facts, proofs, rebuttals, demonstrations, and arguements against your words are your words themselves.  Hmmm… Why are you blaming me for trying to help you see that?

rain….have a great day and rest assured that I will never respond to another post of yours because you a what we used to call a “Prig”. Enjoy your day, enjoy your future and rest assured, you wont have to worry again about my “psycho anger” because you have done what people like you do best, hit, attack like a dog (wuf wuf) and then run to the safety of your computer, and you win. I know that makes your day, because that is what people like you do when you are proved wrong about anything or even if anyone thinks differently.

I know you will enjoy attacking the next person who dares speak out against anything you hold dear.

Seriously, Joni, you REALLY need to lighten up…  It’s so much fun pulling your chain because you react with such psycho anger.  We’re playing you like one of those cheap, tin, Chinese kazoos that they give out at street fairs.  And you sound like one, too, when you start SCREAMING!!!! (AHHHHHH!!!) at no one in particular for three blogs in a row.  You criticize HATERS, but did you even notice how many people you claimed to HATE in the very same blog?  Seriously, Joni, you need to reread your own blogs, mistypes included (mistypes…yeah, right), and try to put yourself into the mind of a normal reader reading your blogs.  What’s the point of rubbing two brain cells together to kindle up some kind of thought if the thought comes across as, well, YOUR THOUGHTS?  You could claim that the sun rose today and it would sound like you’re spitting in our faces…  And it would sound stupid and ill-informed, to boot…  Hmmmmm…  Maybe you are, indeed, screaming at yourself but you just don’t know it…

btw I don’t ever remember saying that “CEOs sign a contract with unions” If I did, I must have mistyped.  I probably said that “CEOs sign CONTRACTS for their bonus pay and those contracts MUST be upheld or our business field would go down in shambles.  If I actually said that CEOs signed contracts with unions, please show me. I am sure you have a copy of it somewhere so please, repost it..I would love to see that.

look I have negative opinion on unions and from my PERSONAL experience, they are outdated and in the car industry (for instance), the major blame for their downfall.

Like it or not, that is MY opinion and that is what these blogs are all about…voicing our OPINION and besides, if it were not for me, you would have no one to attack on a regular basis.

Have a great day, I know I will….
