When Gregg Reynolds (Thanks to all of those standing against hate, May 20, Potomac News) says that Greg Letiecq of Help Save Manassas “....goes on to assassinate the character of some members of our community,” he ought to pay more attention to his own words. What he offers in his most recent personal diatribe against Greg Letiecq is nothing more than an effort to shut down the debate about illegal immigration with hate and intimidation.
His personal attacks speak nothing of public policy options, chart no new course to help reduce the number of illegal aliens unlawfully residing in our communities, but only seek to demonize an honorable man. His irresponsible tirade is exactly the kind of behavior he should be condemning.
Greg Letiecq’s efforts to advocate for policies to gain some degree of control over the illegal immigration problem have saved county taxpayers millions of dollars, rescued numerous communities from blight and lawlessness, improved public safety and reduced overcrowding in emergency rooms across the county.
A year ago, county residents were in despair about rampant residential overcrowding, illegal aliens contributing to over 50 percent of the murder rate in the county and other problems associated with illegal aliens. In one year, that has dramatically changed. I daresay few have ever contributed more positively to the welfare of our county.
Gregg Reynold’s message of ignoring the problem of illegal aliens has been soundly rejected by the voters and in multiple unanimous votes by the Prince William Board of County Supervisors.
Now that the illegal alien lobby has realized their message won’t win, they start personally attacking those people who promoted different policies and tried to ruin them with outrageous lies and irresponsible cries of racism. This outrageous behavior by Gregg Reynolds, driven by his irrational hatred of Mr. Letiecq is beneath whatever shred of dignity this newspaper retains.
Finally, as sanctuary jurisdictions such as Arlington County contemplate starting their own Help Save Arlington due to the growing influx of illegal aliens from Prince William County, I wonder whether Gregg Reynolds will dispel the same ravages of hate towards his fellow liberals as he’s bestowed on Mr. Letiecq.

I make my comments based on facts, and last year I have seen first hand the racism leveled against new highly competent immigrants who run for office. By the way, they speak English very well. They even can write relatively good articles. So, for those who do not believe in the racist tsunami consecutive to the passage of the resolution, give us a break! I said and reiterate it again, we are fortunate to have some responsible leaders like supervisor Principi who understand the hate agenda underlying the resolutionists’ program. We should never dignify some people by mentioning their names. They are not worth it because they are spreading division in our community. Let’s concentrate on building trust and respect in our neighborhoods. As for the rule of law, there is nothing sacrosanct about reviewing laws and regulations, they are made to be amended. We are tired of lies about Hispanics and immigrants in general. The list of insults against minorities has to stop NOW.

Imagine that, a diatribe by Mr. Molleur blasting someone else for, of all things, character assassination. Well, at least it is a topic he knows well. What’s interesting is that the letter is actually well written, facts aside, as compared to the usual broadsides he pens. I don’t think I have ever seen an example of his work without some reference to Socialists, the Red Scourge, or someother equally trite name or catchphrase. Someone must have finally forced him to take his meds.
Greg L has been a real life saver here in P.W. We owe him kudos for a job well done. And it’s not over yet.
If Barg had done half of what he has done and if Principi would start cleaning up Rt. One,as we have asked for years. He would be doing us all a service.
The numbers that hang around 7-11 at Rt. One and other spots has increased double fold.All day long, cat calling and urinating beside 7-11.When will someone understand this is a health problem.Lets not wait till all the diseases hit.
Mr. Principi needs a backbone like Greg has and we can get on our way to a great county.

Mr. Reynolds, Unity in the Community, and the antibvbl group are not as innocent and fair-minded as they would like us all to believe. Supervisor Nohe and Principi have been hoodwinked by these folks. Supervisor Principi is a fan of Mr. Reynolds.
Mr. Reynold contradicts the preachings of his own organization every time he speaks before the BOCS, and Mr. Principi nods his head in approval each time.
And, sigh, Mr. Molleur also ‘charts no new course’ with his tired myths, stereotype comments and vague numbers with no backing. If PWC has saved “millions” why the budget problems? Was not blight in our neighborhoods a feature in the MJM and PN just the other day - with a focus on American foreclosures? Mr. Reynolds nailed the fact our Canadian immigrant spews hate in his message and that is all that really needed to be said. If Mr. Molleur agrees with Letiecq’s message, well that reflects back on Mr. Molleur.
