BASEBALL
Christ Chapel
Christ Chapel Academy will hold a meeting for all 7th-12th graders interested in playing high school baseball. The meeting will be held Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 3:15 p.m., in the gymnasium.

Forest Park High School

Free Workouts
The Northern Virginia Baseball Development Program (NVBDP) is holding free workouts twice a week for the fall season. They are looking for rising 15U players for the 2010 season to play nationally ranked teams. There will be a limited number of openings for the fall/winter indoor workouts. Total Sports Pavilion
Year-round leagues for youth and adults in indoor soccer, roller hockey and field hockey are available. The men’s open league is for teenagers and those older. There is a women’s over 30 league and coed intermediate league consisting of teenagers and those older. There is also a youth league open to those ages 4-17. Email for any questions. Bull Run Association
Bull Run Officials seeking individuals interested in becoming sports officials. Bull Run Officials is a member of the Virginia High School League Association that handles basketball, softball, baseball and football. Levels of competition vary from youth recreation to Group AAA high schools. Assignments are in Prince William, Fairfax, Stafford, Loudoun County as well as other Northern Virginia areas. Prince William Ice Center
The Prince William Ice Center is offering eight week Learn to Skate and Learn to Play Hockey classes. The lessons are on Mondays, Wednesdays or Saturdays for ages 4 and up, from beginner to advanced skaters. The cost for the 8-week series is $108, $94.50 for the seven-week series. Total Sports Pavilion offers rental hours for sports teams or family and friends to play pickup soccer. Total Sports Pavilion
Summer Soccer Camps will be held Aug. 10-14. Summer League dates will be until Aug.15. Complete training is available in all aspects of the game. Camp hours are from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. with an hour break for lunch. Half day registration costs $70. Full day registration is $135. It is open to boys and girls ages 7-15 and there is a $20 discount for multiple weeks and siblings. Summer league registration is $55. Cost is $115 for a half day camp and league. Cost is $170 for a full day camp and league.

The Prince William Girls Fastpitch Softball league is looking for volunteers to coach girls fastpitch softball for the fall season. PWGFS needs coaches for the following age divisions: 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and pass a criminal background check.
