The Osbourn Park Yellow Jackets, seizing an unexpected opportunity, claimed the Cardinal District Volleyball Tournament championship on Thursday.

When Towson hired a new head football coach last December, Danzel White (Hylton ’08) got excited about his prospects of starting as a freshman linebacker for the Tigers. Cannon get his payoff with first Lengend’s championship
Matt Cannon battled his way to his first Legend’s championship at Old Dominion Speedway this season. Along the way, the 20-year-old Westminster, Md., driver racked up 12 top threes, including three wins and six seconds, with an average finish of 3.4.

Hannah Marter sparked a rally with her serve and the Seton volleyball team defeated Highland School 26-24, 26-24, 25-12 on Tuesday in the semifinals of the Delaney Athletic Conference Tournament.

The Forest Park volleyball team had the look of aspiring state champions on Monday night, which is about three weeks ahead of schedule.
More athletes, new course give Cougars hope for future

Then to his surprise, a member of Manassas Park’s boys’ cross country team dropped by to see Mike Peters and was looking for an ax.
“When you hear a kid say that, and you’re in your office, you’re like ‘Wait a minute,’” said Peters, Manassas Park’s director of student activities.

Forest Park field hockey team wins Cardinal District Tournament
