Good morning Prince William. It’s daffodil time in Prince William and that means those super folks at the American Cancer Society need your help right now. As you recall this is a fabulous fundraiser for the organization and all these lovely flowers certainly raise the spirit of all concerned. Volunteers are needed this week for sorting and delivery. Please join in the fun Monday for sorting at the Giant in Dale City and if you have just an hour or so, your help delivering on Tuesday would be appreciated. Then this weekend, the fun moves up to Manassas on Saturday for sorting at A-1 Glass and delivery is scheduled next week for the Manassas area. Please call JoAnn at 703-973-1085 to help with this wonderful event.
And certainly in the spirit of spring please mark your calendars for Saturday, April 4, to celebrate Park Day in Manassas. The Stop the Silence organization works throughout the greater metro area to prevent and treat child abuse. Volunteers are needed for the 2009 Race, Run and Rally on Sunday, April 19, in West Potomac Park. Volunteer positions include stuffing packets on April 17 and tons of fun jobs on the race course supporting the runners.
