Manassas woman, 61, charged in larceny

A Manassas woman was charged with grand larceny after she attempted to walk out of a store in the 11100 block of Bulloch Drive in Manassas with over $200 of unpaid merchandise at around 3:58 p.m. Thursday, Prince William County police said.

Arrested was Sharon Lynne Cassady, 61, of 6081 Omega Lane in Manassas.

Cassady was held on a $1,500 bond and has a court date on May 14.

Woodbridge man charged in copper tubing theft

A Woodbridge man was arrested and charged with grand larceny for stealing copper tubing valued at $1,000 from a construction site at 15500 Benita Fitzgerald Drive in Woodbridge.

The theft occurred between 4 p.m. on Feb. 15 and 9:06 a.m. on Feb. 16, police said.

Christopher Bryann Jackson, 38, of 14515 Kestral Drive in Woodbridge, turned himself in to the Gar-Field police station on Wednesday, police said.

He is being held on a $1,000 bond and has a court date on May 13.

Armed man threatens Manassas resident

A 34-year-old Manassas man reported that he was approached by a man with a gun while he was walking and push-ing a grocery cart in the 8300 block of Sudley Road in Manassas around 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

The victim reported that the man threatened him with a gun, but he was able to get away and call police.

The gunman is described as a black male, between 18 and 20 years old, approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a brown hoodie, black pants and dark colored gloves.

Pair attempts to rob Woodbridge man at ATM

A 27-year-old Woodbridge man reported that he was approached by two men who tried to rob him while he was trying to get money from an ATM in the 14500 block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge at around 12:15 a.m. Friday.

One of the men implied that he had a gun, police said.

The victim was able to drive away and call police.

The robbers are described as two black men, between 18 and 22 years old. One man was approximately 6 feet tall and was wearing a white shirt and dark pants. The second man was approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall and was wearing a black sweater and dark pants.

Boy pulls handgun

on man, then flees

An unknown boy pulled a handgun on a 19-year-old Woodbridge man in the 15000 block of Cordell Avenue in Dale City around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.

Police said the armed boy and two other juveniles fled the scene before police arrived.

The gunman was described as Hispanic, between 14 and 16 years old, with a medium build. He was wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans. The investigation continues, police said.
