Police investigate Manassas burglary
Manassas City Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at a Subway restaurant in the 10200 block of Nokesville Road.
Police responded to an alarm sounding at the Subway at 3:30 a.m. Saturday.
When police arrived, an officer saw that the front door lock had been removed, Manassas City Police spokesman Sergeant Tim Neumann said.
Police searched the business and the surrounding area, but found no suspects.
The burglars took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register, police said.

Dumfries man charged with reckless handling
A Dumfries man was charged with reckless handling of a firearm Saturday, Prince William County police said.
Police responded to reports of gunshots in the 3300 block of Graham Park Road in dumfries around 7:15 p.m. Saturday, Prince William County Police spokeswoman 1st Sgt. Kim Chinn said.
When they arrived at the scene, police saw Jimmy Wayne Prevatte Jr., 43, of 3631 Graham Park Road in Dumfries entering his house carrying a rifle.
Police interviewed Prevatte and charged him with reckless handling of a firearm, Chinn said.
He is being held on a $1,000 bond and his court date was not available.
