Metro starts selling Obama inaugural cards, passes

WASHINGTON (AP) — Metro has begun selling special Barack Obama inaugural SmarTrip cards and One-Day passes on its Web site.

Riders can buy the plastic SmarTrip cards in advance for $10 with no fare value, or for $20 with $10 worth of fare. The limited-edition cards are rechargeable.

The One-Day Pass is $10 and is good for unlimited travel on one day between Jan. 17 and Jan. 20.
