Prince William police reported the following incidents:
Manassas
• A Manassas area man was beaten with a baseball bat in front of his home Christmas morning, police said. The victim said he was standing outside of his house talking with some friends when he was attacked by a large group of people.
The incident happened Thursday around 2:35 a.m. in the 8100 block of Community Drive. The victim said he did not know the suspects. When they attacked him they knocked him to the ground, kicked him and hit him with a baseball bat. His friends tried to help him but they too were hit with the bat, and another was pushed out of the way, police said.
The first victim was taken to the hospital for his injuries.
The second was not treated.
• A 20-year-old man was stabbed several times while at a party Christmas night. The incident happened around 1 a.m. in the 11200 unit block of Soldiers Ridge Court.
The victim was involved in an argument with the assailant who initially left the party, but then came back to stab him, police said. He was treated at a local hospital for his wounds.
The attacker is described as Hispanic, between 22 and 23 years old, approximately 6 feet tall, medium build and brown eyes. Police are still investigating the incident.
Woodbridge
• Police said two men broke into a house while a group of friends were hanging out and demanded money at gunpoint. The incident happened Saturday around 6:30 p.m. in the1800 block of Wigglesworth Way.
The assailants entered through an unlocked basement door and stole cash from the six people who were inside the house. Another victim who was outside of the house was also robbed of cash. The victims were all between 18 and 22 years old.
The two men were described as 20 to 30 years old. One of the men was wearing a dark gray hoodie, and the second man was wearing a green hoodie. They both left in a dark-colored car.
