Abortion being a risky business (there is a victim in every abortion), do not women deserve the safest possible conditions under which these procedures are performed?
Optimum health-care needs require regulations to protect the health and safety of women and these regulations should apply to all medical outpatient facilities, including those that perform surgery. It defies reason to allow the abortion industry to remain unregulated and unaccountable for their medical procedures.
Common sense tells us not to take pets to unregulated and unaccountable animal clinics. That same common sense should apply to abortions.
I urge the Manassas City Council to examine the present regulations and implement any necessary changes needed for providers in Manassas.
