On June 3, Mr. Westhoff wrote a letter indicating Barack Obama is better suited for the presidency because he will use diplomacy and force to deal with our adversaries whereas John McCain will allegedly only use force. However, it is Obama’s “Jimmy Carter style” diplomacy that is his Achilles heel. Furthermore, Mr. Westhoff is unfamiliar with John McCain’s vision of creating a “Wilsonian” league of democracies to address global issues.
McCain is the most qualified person in American to serve as chief diplomat, commander-in-chief and certainly the one I want answering the 3 a.m. phone call.
